What is your capacity?
6 passengers
Exceptions available for special occasions. A Bare Boat Charter can facilitate up to 10 passengers. Call ahead for details and note that additional surcharges may be added to the set price.
How many tours do you operate at one time?
One tour per time slot.
Do I pay a tax?
Taxes are included in the price.
Are there age restrictions?
None. Be aware that we do not provide jackets for infants as the coast guard does not have a recognized specification/approved PFD (personal floatation device).
BYOB?
No. However, beer and wine are included and available in purchase of package, as well as soda, tea, and water.
Captain and crew reserve the right to stop serving alcohol for the safety of passenger(s), on a moving vessel, surrounded by water.
Are meals provided?
Light fare is provided by Tradewind Sails during your tour. Additionally, provided options are available to meet your desires. Please contact us for more information.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Call ahead and we will strive to facilitate the best that we can.
Do you honor special events?
We do our best to accommodate each individual's desired experience.
IE: Engagement, bachelorette and/or birthday parties, rocket launches, sunset tours, business/corporate events and bioluminescence tours.
Additional surcharges will be added to the pricing of special events based on the request of the guest, such as hosting meals.
Is the vessel handicap accessible?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our vessel, we are unable to provide wheelchair accessibility. Passengers need to be able to step approx.12-18 inches up, down, and/or over. As such, those who use walkers or have limited mobility may have issues boarding and being seated on the boat. In order to get below deck a step ladder must be navigated. Please contact us well in advance with further questions on this matter and find out how we may accommodate some limitations.
Do I have to purchase in advance?
No. However, reservations are required and we cannot guarantee your time slot UNTIL RECEIPT OF PAYMENT.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
If you'd like to bring your own food, let us know in advance.
*Absolutely no hard liquor on board per charter regulations.
Are there restrooms onboard?
Yes.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your charter time for our Vessel Familiarization Orientation.
What should I wear?
Comfortable and secure footwear is a MUST to ensure balance and the overall safety of guest(s). Aside from that, it's up to you! Think sunshine and water!
Can we get in the water?
Yes!
What is trip insurance?
You may purchase trip insurance at 20% of total tour package price.
This ensures that you may cancel up to 6 hours before your tour for a full cash refund and option to reschedule.
If cancellation is 0-6 hrs. before trip, rescheduling is the only option.
*Standard cancellation policy is 48 hr. notice.
Weather Disclaimer
If the trip is canceled due to adverse weather conditions before we disembark, a full refund will be issued. However, if the trip is cut short due to weather conditions, a partial refund will be credited to the customer depending on the time back to the dock in relation to the time remaining on the package booked.
E.G., (9 hr.) Cape’s Bounty trip booked but returned to the dock at 4.5 hrs. due to weather, $600 will be refunded back to customer.
Additionally, our Captain reserves the right to change booked itinerary without notice to guests, upon his discretion for the safety of guests and crew.
Refund Policy
48 hr. cancellation notice is required for a full cash refund. Additionally, trip insurance can be purchased at 20% of total tour package price. See FAQ for details.
Release of Liability
Release Of Liability Waiver MUST be completed online by each guest and parent/guardian of a minor PRIOR to booking and boarding.
